Classic

 classic feature image

The Tired Iron “Classic” Race is the premier event of the weekend. Eligible are all Air-cooled, leaf-spring production sleds up to and including Model Year 1979, capable of more than 50 MPH.

Clarification: For Tired Iron Races, sleds produced in 1978 are 1979 MODEL YEAR and ARE eligible. A sled produced in 1979 is a 1980 MODEL YEAR, and is NOT eligible to enter.

Departure times will be predetermined by a computer generated formula, including the sleds original performance estimates, the age of the sled, and the age of the driver.  This event showcases some of the most beautiful, totally restored snowmachines you will find anywhere in the country.
